Karen, Gloria, Yvonne, and Gareth love Alvor beach, one of the best beaches in the Algarve, Portugal and a favourite with families during the summer months. Alvor has a single vast beach with clear, safe sea waters and is within walking distance of the town.
Letitica and Rute love Odeceixe, one of the quieter, wilder beaches of the western Algarve. These beaches are some of the best places to surf in Portugal. They form part of the Ria Formosa Natural Park and there is almost no tourist development on the island. It is not possible to walk to these beaches, but ferries cross from the riverfront all year round.
